LUCY STEEL

A Scottish user-centred designer and illustrator with a passion for putting people at the heart of decision making. I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone in 2021 with BDes (hons) in illustration before completing my MSc in Design for Business with a distinction in 2022. Here I found my love for Design Thinking and inclusive design. I won an award for best academic performance of 2021/22 and have worked with the likes of The Global Goals, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Graft Global.  

I enjoy using my visual communication skills to translate abstract models into something tangible and bring ideas to life in a user-friendly way. With skills in Service Design, Co-design and strategic design thinking, I am keen to use my illustration expertise to make complex ideas more accessible.
